I would be happy if you let me know what you think (Welcome :)
Contemporary life is hard to organize. Did you ever wish to find some information just as when you need it? It is a nightmare to find, classify, access "clean" information today because there is "too much" out there in the wild.
Gmail was born on April 1st 2004 and I started my first blog on 28th February 2006. Gmail kickstart is important because it was built on the powerful idea of "labeling" OR "tagging" information. This was useful to build up a semi-automatic, intuative, ontology structure for the information & data that have been captured.
Blogs were important because they were the first examples for social networks. We were so ready and willingful for sharing and wow! It became a huge avalanche! Myspace, Facebook, Plaxo and others such as LinkedIn followed... And Twitter was a knock-down! My first blog is staying AS-IS since 2006 with the very first message. I plan to keep it that way - it is an ironic masterpiece which denotes my unique intention to share my thoughts which were unable to be explicated since then!
Now I may realize that I was waiting for cloud computing to become so powerful. I have an opportunity now to move a major part of my life to the cloud. It is still the early start phase of a new age which promises a completely different lifestyle for next generations. Though, I have serious concerns about the way things go on so if not too late it is a good time to start critisizing things, and suggest solutions.
Our everyday life is highly affected and shaped by information technologies. So I will also try to dive into possible corelations between everyday events and what is really going on out there... It is sometimes what we see AS-IS but sometimes NOT. I will be very happy to get your thoughts on those topics. No restrictions! Everything can be discussed here as long as a minimum for respect to each other and to cultural values, privacy, and rights are maintained and we share with responsibility.
It is my aim to let even children learn about everyday life from the big, with a fair, clear, reduced language. The blog will include Turkish and English manuscript, and they will be tagged as necessary. If you like to read all in ENG (or TR) just select the appropriate tag,
With my kindest regards and sincere wishes, time to start - "NOW"
