iThink (obviously), my perfect subdomain was stolen (any ideas how?)... But ok. I found even a better one; not leaner but richer in terms of the semantics it owns. Please celebrate with me: my new subdomain :) iThinkThank!

who am I?
Sometimes I wonder as well... In short, a catalyst in life...
As a professional and an Architect, I was born and grown up in Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul, Turkey,
My career route had been defined with the initiation of my Master of Architecture education in the Building Construction Management & Economics Master's program in Istanbul Technical University (I.T.U.) Made various research on Cost Estimation, Project Time Management, Project Risk Management, Project Quality Management & Coordinated Project Information.
My research and development efforts are always Information & Communication Tecnologies (ICT) oriented. My PhD is about Linking Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Processes through Facility Management (FM) integration. My main research topic is Data, Process and People "Interoperability".
In 2008 I have been elected as the Secretary General of The International Centre for Applied Thermodynamics (ICAT). ICAT opened a new perspective in my life for developing interoperability solutions for "Energy Efficient Building Design" to facilitate the acquisition of Sustainable Technologies to the end user with the support of CRM (wohaaa!). I (still) plan to contribute to the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) development in the field.
My undergraduate education - Architecture - is the main foundation for my professional formation, and I have a few designs built. I provide Consultancy services for; Coordination of Project Information, Construction Documentation, Bidding, Tendering, with skills based on CSI Masterformat, Uniclass and The Ministry of Public Works and Settlement (Turkey) systems. Completed BoQ & tendering documentation of various projects with an approximate construction area over 1'000'000 m².
I am an IT specialist for database design, web development (.NET & Ajax), network setup, security deployment, and systems management under Windows based systems. The software developed by me is mostly to facilitate my own tasks in life (not for resale or profit). Developing skills under Unix/Linux based systems. A complete career record available @ here.
I have a long long "thank you" list who supported me with their advises and support including my teachers, friends, students, familiy etc. throughout my career route... I would write about that soon. I am usually too busy with business to realize my such plans but this is a unique phase of my life and I hope I would manage this time...
